Dr. Austin Chaing
Performance and Physio
Austin is a North Carolina native that grew up in Greenville, NC. He attended the University of Georgia where he received his degree in Exercise and Sports Science. He received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from High Point University and became licensed in July of 2020. Austin has furthered his specialty by becoming a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist), CrossFit Level 2 Trainer Certification (currently coaches at CrossFit Clayton), and becoming CMFA-Certified (Clinical Management of the Fitness Athlete). Austin aims to use his knowledge and experiences to mesh the worlds of physical therapy, strength and conditioning, and CrossFit to help individuals live their best lives. Austin and his wife, Abby, opened the brand new facility in April of 2024 to further instil their vision of Beyond Movement into Downtown Clayton.

Sheresa Elliot
Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Sheresa Elliot, LCSW LCAS (A) Sheresa is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist (A) who strives to understand how environments impact a person's behaviors and help them to address the emotional challenges and mental barriers. She works with individuals to explore how trauma, life changes, relationships and stressors impact a person's behavior. Sheresa's primary therapy models are: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Brief Solutions Focused Therapy (SFT) Child Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Sheresa uses a reflective approach to challenge clients' reflective capacity and ability to explore how experiences shape their perceptions. She also incorporates strengths-based approaches into practice to support individuals in identifying natural supports, unique skills and talents to cope with traumas or concerns in a healthy way.

Erin Speight
Registered Dietitian
“Erin Speight is from Greenville, North Carolina where she obtained her Bachelor and Masters of Science in Nutrition Dietetics at East Carolina University and where she was selected for a research and creativity award for her research in non-coding messenger RNA regulation of inflammatory pathways. While completing her Masters of Science in Nutrition, she also completed her dietetic internship through UNC Wayne Memorial Hospital, ECU Athletics, and Fresenius obtaining her license as a Registered Dietitian / Nutritionist. Erin researched metabolic disorders, focusing on fatty acid oxidation at the Brody School of Medicine’s Diabetes & Obesity Institute. Erin’s work as a group fitness instructor and personal trainer have given her additional insight and experience integrating nutrition goals with exercise goals in a wholistic manner. Erin has previously worked as an Exercise Specialist at Vidant Wellness, Bariatric Dietitian at Nutrition at Best, Health Coach at Dr. S Weightloss and Wellness and diabetes specialty Dietitian at Down East Diabetology.
